A St. Louis SEO company that shows its work

We do local SEO for St. Louis small businesses: the site, the Google listing, the content, and the AI answers, with every price posted and everything in your name. Start with a free audit; we show you the visibility gaps between you and your major competitors, and the plan to close them.

The Gateway Arch drawn as a constellation of glowing blue dots, with a bright marker at its peak.

Most St. Louis SEO companies make you sit through a sales call to hear a price. We put ours on the website, along with what each dollar buys, because an owner comparing SEO firms deserves numbers before a pitch.

Here’s the shape of the problem. When someone nearby searches for what you do, nearly seven in ten clicks go to the first three results (First Page Sage, 2026), and the businesses sitting there get the call. Being on page two is functionally the same as not existing. That was already true before AI assistants started answering “who should I call” questions directly; now the same neglected listing that kept you off page one keeps you out of ChatGPT’s answers too.

What we do

Eight things, no mystery. Every plan draws from this list; the services page shows exactly which plan includes what.

Local SEO

The steady work that moves you up when someone nearby searches for what you do: your pages, your Google listing, and the places your business is mentioned, all pointing the same direction.

Google Business Profile management

We set up, complete, and maintain the listing that puts you on the map, and we answer the reviews that come in. A complete profile makes people about 70% more likely to visit, by Google’s own count.

Web design and hosting

A fast site built so both Google and AI assistants can read it, hosted and maintained by us, owned by you. Plans start at $100 a month.

Content writing

Pages and articles in plain language, written for the questions your customers actually type. Every plan includes about one new article a month.

AI search visibility

The newer half of the job: making sure assistants like ChatGPT can read, trust, and name your business. We wrote up how this works in AI search optimization for small business.

Business listings

The same name, address, and phone number everywhere your business appears, from Apple Maps to Yelp. Mismatched listings quietly cost trust with both Google and AI tools.

Review help

A simple routine for asking happy customers for reviews, and written responses to the ones you get. Reviews are among the first things an AI assistant repeats about you.

Plain-language reporting

Each month you see what changed and what it means, written for an owner, not for another SEO.

What it costs

Two ways to work with us, both priced in the open. The Website + Hosting plans run $100, $300, or $500 a month, billed monthly with no lock-in; they cover the site, hosting, content, and AI answering tools on the upper tiers. The Local SEO upgrade is the full program at $1,150 to $2,950 a month, also month to month, for a business that wants the whole campaign; we ask you to give it about 90 days, because the work compounds. Every tier is broken down line by line here. A one-off consultation is $125 an hour, and the first call, free audit included, costs nothing.

If your main worry is the website itself rather than the campaign, start with small business website design instead.

The first 90 days, plainly

SEO companies get away with vagueness because results take time and owners can’t tell stalling from patience. So here’s what steady work actually looks like, month by month, before you’ve paid us anything:

  1. Month 1

We fix the foundations: your Google Business Profile gets completed, your site gets readable to search engines and assistants, and your listings start getting corrected. Nothing ranks yet, and we say so.

  2. Month 2

The first content lands and Google starts re-reading the site. You may see movement on less competitive searches; the big ones take longer.

  3. Month 3

Patterns show up in the numbers: which searches bring people, which pages they land on, what they do next. We adjust based on what the data says, not what we guessed.

Where we work

We’re based on Delmar Boulevard in St. Louis and work with businesses across the metro, on both sides of the river. The linked areas have their own pages, and the full list lives at service areas:

  • Central West End
  • St. Charles
  • St. Peters
  • Kirkwood
  • The Hill
  • Soulard
  • Webster Groves
  • University City
  • Chesterfield
  • Maplewood
  • Brentwood
  • Ballwin
  • Florissant
  • Belleville, IL
  • Edwardsville, IL

No office visits needed in either direction; the whole engagement runs on calls, email, and the reports.

Why the AI part matters now

This is the piece most local agencies haven’t caught up to. Assistants like ChatGPT increasingly answer “find me a plumber near me” questions with a short list of names, and those names are usually businesses already easy to find on Google. The two jobs overlap almost entirely: complete listing, consistent information, readable site, real reviews. We wrote up why AI assistants skip most local businesses and what they read instead on the blog, and the work itself is baked into every plan rather than sold as an add-on.

How to compare SEO companies here

Whichever SEO company in St. Louis you end up hiring, us or not, four questions separate a serious firm from the churn mills. Ask what the price is before the sales call; if the answer requires a meeting, the meeting is the product. Ask who owns the domain, the site, and the Google accounts at the end; the correct answer takes one word. Ask what happens in the first month, specifically; “we start optimizing” is not an answer, a list like the one above is. And ask how they’ll report, because a dashboard you can’t read serves the agency, not you.

Notice that none of those questions require you to understand SEO. They’re ownership and honesty questions, and an agency that squirms on them will squirm harder when the invoices start.

Proof, honestly

We’re a young shop, and we’d rather say that than rent someone else’s testimonials. What we can show today: example builds demonstrating the kind of site the method produces, prices posted in full where most agencies make you book a call first, and this site itself, which practices everything we sell. Named client results with real numbers will be published as the tracking data matures, and not one day before.

Common questions

How much does SEO cost in St. Louis?
SEO companies in St. Louis quote anywhere from a few hundred to several thousand dollars a month, often only after a sales call. Ours are posted: website plans run $100 to $500 a month, and the full local SEO program runs $1,150 to $2,950 a month. The numbers are on the services page before you ever talk to us.
Do you require a contract?
No. Every plan is month to month, so you can leave whenever you like. Local SEO takes time to compound, so we ask you to give it about 90 days, but the choice is always yours.
What do I actually own?
Your website, your domain name, your content, and your Google accounts. All of it stays yours if you leave, with nothing held hostage.
How long until I see results?
Small movements inside 90 days; the most competitive searches take longer. Anyone promising the front page in two weeks is describing an ad, a fluke, or a lie.
Do you guarantee a top ranking?
No, and nobody honest does; Google doesn’t sell positions and neither do we. What we guarantee is the work, plainly reported, and your freedom to walk if it isn’t paying.
What's the difference between the website plans and the local SEO program?
The website plans ($100 to $500 a month) cover the site, hosting, monthly content, and, on the higher tiers, AI tools that answer leads and book appointments. The local SEO program ($1,150 and up) is the full campaign: more pages, more content, business listings, and review work. Both are compared side by side here.
Do you work with my industry?
If your customers find you by searching nearby, yes. We’ve written most of our examples around HVAC because it’s a clear case, and the same method fits roofers, dentists, med spas, law offices, and most other local trades.
Who actually does the work?
Matthew Jamison, the founder. You talk to the person doing the work, not an account manager relaying notes to a team you’ll never meet. More on that on the about page.
What is AI search visibility?
When someone asks ChatGPT or a similar assistant who to call, the assistant reads your Google listing, your reviews, and your site, then decides whether to name you. 45% of consumers now use AI tools to find local businesses, and in SOCi’s study even big multi-location brands saw only about 1.2% of their locations get named. We build sites so they make the cut, and it’s included in every plan.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. Sometimes the site is fine and the Google listing is the problem; sometimes it’s the reverse. The free audit is where we tell you which, even if the answer is that you don’t need us.
How do you report progress?
Once a month, in plain language: what we did, what moved, what’s next. You keep full access to your own analytics, so you never have to take our word for it.
What happens if I stop?
You keep the site, the domain, the content, and the rankings the work earned. SEO isn’t a subscription that switches off; it’s an asset you own.

Start with the free audit

Let us run a free audit and walk you through the plan: where you show up next to your major competitors on Google and in AI answers, which gaps are costing you calls, and what we’d fix first. Nothing to pay, and the findings are yours either way, even if the honest answer is that you don’t need us yet.
